Fashion design is a form of art, especially those that create sculptural pieces from textiles! I have always been drawn to fashions with unexpected shapes, and it’s exciting to see more designers moving towards this style – such as the one featured here, Vika Gazinskaya.
Street style darling Vika Gazinskaya’s looks have been a huge inspiration for me. Since she launched her collections a few years ago, there’s always something from each season that makes me yelp with ecstasy. I’m obsessed with this origamic top from the Russian designer, with its avant-garde asymmetrical bow which actually makes me feel as if I’m donning a giant flower. In a perfect harmony of a high-low ensemble, I paired this top with an H&M skirt which I’ve made SO many uses out of. I would even pair this top with my favorite wide leg pants to balance out the shapes.
Hope you enjoyed this set, have a great week!
