Texture Play & Chloe Nile at Hepburn

Recently I had the opportunity to visit one of DC’s most gorgeous apartment complexes – complete with an incredibly stunning rooftop – right in the heart of Dupont. The Hepburn is boasting with top-notch amenities, architecture and views. With the city in my background, I wanted to put together a whimsical, texture-filled look consisting of new and old pieces from the closet.

The sequin skirt is an oldie from ASOS, and Fendi Buggies sweater is actually a kids version. It’s a little provocative on an adult, no? 😛 As you know I’m always into reuse and repurposing, and these fur cuffs are taken from the pocket trimmings from an old sweater dress I had (though of course I prefer faux whenever possible).

This Chloe Nile bracelet bag is THE “It” bag of the season! It was all over street style on the recent fashion month, and I just love the “bracelet” ring instead of typical handle design. This is the small version, and although my huge iphone barely fits in there, the size is perfect for day or nighttime outing. There is a medium version as well, which would be more practical for us mommies.
