Being one of winter 2018’s hottest trends, sequins are everywhere now and it’s not just for New Year’s Eve parties.  Some shimmer and shine is always fun for a night out, and this blazer and pants set can even be worn separately with casual items for a cool day look.

 

This cool tee shirt is made by deaf artists of the collective District of C.  I just love the bold design and of course the representation of my city – the nation’s Capital.

 

We had the chance to visit the recently open (currently in preview) and long anticipated Line Hotel DC.  Friend and chef Erik Bruner-Yang’s Brother’s and Sisters restaurant serves delicious multicultural small plates, with cocktails from famed mixologist Todd Thrasher.  I’m looking forward to the opening of their other restaurants, and apparently the Obamas already had a birthday dinner at one of them this week!
