Ever since Ellery debuted the Delores top, ruffle sleeves have been everywhere and it has not slowed down this season. I love mine dearly as you can see here and here, but sometimes it’s nice to have a cheaper alternative so alleviate worries of wear and tear. Here I doubled up on the ruffles, with a Storets top and Zara pants.
I don’t promote knock-offs – while this version is definitely inspired by an original designer item, it is different enough give it a whirl (no pun intended). The Zara pants are also similar to an original Rosie Assoulin design, with a different material.
This is also my first time being shot with a Leica! I was glad to have met Olivia while she was visiting DC from NYC, and had the opportunity to work on this set at the gorgeous National Portrait Gallery. I’ve been to the atrium a bunch, but never upstairs. What a hidden gem it is! DC is so full of incredible museums.
Have a great week!
