Growing up in Montgomery County, I had many memories of hanging out at Montgomery Mall with friends, going to the movie theaters, shopping and eating at the food court. Decades later, I now live in D.C. but am aware of the vast developments happening in this area in the past few years. Now that we are parents, visiting family in Maryland seems like a mini vacation, and we still use the opportunity to have “sleepover” at moms and have date night at the movies at iPic in Rockville or ArcLight Cinemas in Bethesda.
During one of those visits to MoCo, I had the chance to visit EYA Montgomery Row – a new development in Bethesda nearby Montgomery Mall. Just outside the beltway, this area is convenient for those who want access to D.C. without having the higher cost-of-living, and hustle-and-bustle city life.
If you work in D.C. but want a quieter place to retreat to after the 9-5, come by and check out this area! There are also more neighborhoods close by that’s great for dining and entertainment – Downtown Bethesda, Potomac Park, Pike and Rose, and Rockville Town Center just to name a few.
Hope you like the looks I styled here, see you next time!
