It’s officially Spring Gala season! While I’m definitely a fashion “collector”, similar to anyone who collects art, it’s difficult to keep up with a constant rotation of special occasion pieces without breaking the bank. That’s why I was more than ecstatic to discover Armarium when they first did a pop-up shop in D.C. last year.
Armarium is a high-end fashion rental service with an incredibly drool-worthy selection that I could’ve only dreamt of wearing. Yes, some of the rental fees are high enough for you to want to keep an item, but there are plenty of options around the $300 range that beats anything you could buy for that price. Better yet, use code ANCHYIADORNED to get 30% off your rental!
I have already made use of a couple of seriously jaw-dropping pieces that surely was the best dress of the night. They even offer accessories such as statement jewelry and evening clutches (such as this Judith Leiber bag). What’s also great is the ease of shipping the item back – and if the item doesn’t fit, just notify them within 24 hours to get a refund!
I’m normally a size 2, but most of the dresses I feel in love with were size 4 (such as this Rochas piece) but they fit just fine on the loose side. They even allow some temporary alterations on certain pieces, so that’s worth checking out.
I wore this fabulous dress with an old metallic trench dug up from back of the coat closet, gold Alexander McQueen pumps from LePrix, and Mercedes Salazar earrings from local shop Nova Bossa Living.
Speaking of bag designer Judith Leiber, it was truly a modern day Romeo and Juliet story of her passed just hours apart from her husband. Both in their 90’s, neither wanted to live without the other. Now that’s #relationshipgoals! She went from being a Holocaust survivor to designing artful handbags for celebrities on the red carpet. Her husband Gerson was also an artist known for his prints. Talk about a creative, dynamic couple!
Hope you’re having a great week, and don’t forget to get 30% off your Armarium rental with promo code ANCHYIADORNED!
