Hello everyone! As you may have see in a previous post, I’m all about making more use out of those special-occasion items in your closet. In this outfit, a gown from the H&M 2013 Paris collection (one of my favorite special collections from them) is styled as a casual outfit. The long, glamorous look is fabulous, but it’s also fun to pair it in unexpected ways. By layering an oversized poplin and shorts underneath, and a cropped bustier on top, it gives this ensemble a quirky, one-of-a-kind look. I’ve put this look together for a chance to win a mentorship with the amazing Man Repeller in collaboration with Bloglovin’ and H&M – so wish me luck!
I’ve been loving the extra long, oversized sleeves trend seen on street style darlings last year, and appearing on the Fall 2016 runways. It makes doing any kind of real work a bit inconvenient :P, but the look is super cool!
And what about the Animal Buddy bag trend from designers like Charlotte Olympia, Kate Spade and Thom Browne? Here, I’m using an authentically vintage Panda bag – it’s actually a gift from my late dad from his trip to China when I was a child, 30+ years ago. On this Father’s Day, I wanted to remember him by featuring this special piece from him in this outfit. Miss you and love you, dad!
Thanks for reading, see you next time!
