Transitional season is here! Although this is bit of a “literal” interpretation of in-between cool and warm temperatures, let’s just take a moment and admire the gorgeous design of this Stella McCartney knit dress! I love unconventional lines, and although pairing this with a long sleeve shirt underneath would be more practical, the visual effects of a bare arm vs. one covered in heavy knits is just so much more dramatic! As an added perk, xtra-long sleeves is also a big trend for the upcoming Fall 2016 season, though I’d happily rock it now and forever.
Now let’s talk about this location with the awesomely busted windows. The neighborhoods in DC beyond NW has taken such a dramatic overhaul in the past few years, including this one – Ivy City. What used to be only known as the hood with a huge nightclub now has a Mom’s Organic and swanky apartments built inside an old Hecht’s Warehouse. The building that served as backdrop of this post is in process of reconstruction, and I can’t wait to see the future Ivy City unfold!
