Designer Spotlight: Off-White

Hello friends! In this post I’d like to spotlight one of my new favorite designers: Vigil Abloh for Off-White. Launched in 2014, it is the perfect combo of street wear and high fashion. I’m obsessed with the clean yet bold designs, and the quirkiness of his way of stating the obvious (i.e. the silver earrings below are engraved with – you guessed it – “Earring”). Before launching the brand, Abloh studied Civil Engineering in his undergrad – just like me! Looks like we both realized where our true passion lies after years of studying structure, thermodynamics, construction and environmental engineering (how the heck did I survive those days… 😎

For 2017, the off-shoulder trend has transitioned from baring BOTH shoulder to just ONE – a cut I’ve always loved. This simple yet statement making top is actually in a terrycloth material, which gives it an extra sporty look.

And of course my beloved Andreeva perforated pants pairs perfectly in this outfit – it’s no joke when I said these pants would be on repeat this season!
