Sweater weather is here! On days off or at home, I typically wear outfits that are fashionable but comfortable, like this neutral toned oversized sweater and pleated skirt or athleisure wear. The sweater matches my embellished sneakers’ shade of white to make a look that’s chic, soft and balanced – perfect for late fall afternoons!

Fall temperatures also mean bringing out one of my favorite silhouettes – long-sleeved dresses. Sheer maxi dresses are perfect for late summer, but now that it’s colder outside it’s time for an upgrade. My pick is this long-sleeved, ruffled maxi from Nova Bossa, a new local boutique that only carries products from female Latin American designers. Magenta, light blue, and black are perfect for the new season – and in this dress, they make a great base for pops of orange and yellow.

I completed this “Dinner Party Hostess” look with a hand-made, one-of-a-kind bag, silver bracelet and ear cuff. I’m especially obsessed with the cuff’s fringe and pearl details, and the wrap-around design of the bracelet – What about you?

Sporty logo crop tops have been a thing since late summer, I paired mine with some leather leggings and a relaxed, long bomber from Nova Bossa for a comfortable yet chic off-duty ensemble.

With a space like this, how could one not be entertaining all the time?! This stunning Upper West home by Miller and Smith is one of One Loudoun’s newest additions. This main floor features plenty of space for high-end kitchen essentials like Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances; it’s connected to a chic salon that makes up the rest of the level – one of four – too. Don’t feel like climbing 4 flights of stairs? Take the in-home elevator! The bedroom pictured overlooks the surroundings through expansive windows, and it even has a huge outdoor terrace perfect for grilling and entertaining. One Loudoun is expanding its’ home range with these Upper West models, which are within walking distance from the area’s best shops, restaurants and streetscapes. Years ago during the Internet boom, I used to work out here.  It’s changed so much since then!  If you work in the area or want a dream home at a reasonable price, be sure to check them out.
