Berets are making a big appearance this season – and I anticipate this would last until next winter. Personally I am loving this trend, it’s a refreshing change after seasons of heavily used beanies. In this outfit I took some inspirations from Alessandro Michele – who has been KILLING IT at Gucci. Every one of his collections have made me swoon, gasp, or scream with ecstasy since he took over the house. His genius designs bring a revitalizing twist to vintage looks, and I am drooling over every bit of it. Talk about Fashion as Art!
DOLCEZZA FACTORY
The Argentine-style gelato shops were born in Washington, D.C. more than 10 years ago after the owner’s visit to Buenos Aires. Visit their factory, located at 550 Penn St. NE for tastes of freshly hand-made gelato, and try the delicious Coffee Lab, too! The industrial space is great for a hip group outing. While you’re there, why not catch a show at Angelika Pop-up next door or eat your heart out at Union Market? We go there almost weekly – would love to see you there!
