Happy Friday loves!  As fashion is art, I’m always drawn to pieces that resemble more as art installations than clothing.  Not surprisingly, I’m completely smitten with this floral sculpture dress by Christopher Kane found on Armarium.  A design like this is not for the faint of heart, but a total show-stopper for any event you will attend!

This was my original choice for hubby’s Capitol File White House Correspondents Association Dinner Kickoff event, but I ultimately went with another equally fabulous dress instead (more on that soon). In this case I layered a sheer black top underneath the floral dress to provide more coverage and contrasting texture.

 

 

I just can’t get over the sequin floral details of this design!  And how I wish I could take one of these flowers and use as an accessory?  Hmmmm ideas are churning…
